(Hollywood, CA) Adult movie director Will Ryder was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Italy’s Doppio Senso Awards which took place Sunday in the Province of Treviso Italy. He was previously inducted into their Hall of Fame three years earlier.
“This is the honor of a lifetime and I’m truly flattered and thankful to once again be so wonderfully recognized by this organization,” Ryder stated. “I don’t even speak Italian but I humbly offer a big grazie.”
The awards show is a venture by the long-running production team that produces Doppio Senso Night, a live weekly television show on the Italian TV channel Prima Free. In the fifteen years of production, the show has hosted hundreds of celebrities, porn stars and directors in a lively conversational format.
Ryder is an active writer/director/producer and member of five halls-of-fame including AVN, XRCO, NightMoves, Urban X and Doppio Senso. He gave thanks to fellow director Axel Braun who made the introduction to the show’s producers three years ago.
“Axel and I are long-time friends and he’s from Italy so without his introduction, none of this would have been possible,” Ryder says.
“Will is an outstanding writer and director and his movies are very entertaining so I couldn’t be happier to see him get this lifetime achievement award in Italia,” Braun said.
The 2024 Doppio Senso Awards take place Sunday night, May 16th in Treviso, Italy.
