Hall of Fame superstar Sara Jay (SaraJay.com) is happy to announce she is assisting The Ishtar Collective, a sex-worker-and-survivor-led, Vermont-based organization that works in the regional North East, with shoes, clothes and products from her self care brand Bare Self Care/ Sara Jay CBD for distribution to those in need.
The Ishtar Collective works to support sex workers to have a ‘seat at the table’ and be respected members of the communities they live in. Along with other sex worker and survivor-led organizations, the Ishtar Collective has hosted healthcare professionals, lifelong learners, graduate students, social service workers, service industry professionals, local LGBTQ+ members, survivors of violence, and all forms of sex workers for intensive workshops. The organisation also features a community garden and ‘food justice program’ so that those in need can not only put food on the table but learn the values of land stewardship.
